Dr. Valdivia is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infections Diseases. She graduated from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Valdivia completed her residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences, Internal Medicine and her Fellowship at the University of Arizona Health Sciences, Infectious Diseases.
She is currently Medical Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Tucson Medical Center and has served in a variety of hospital leadership roles at Tucson Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital. She is a board member of the Valley Fever Alliance of Arizona Clinicians and Pima Medical Society.
Dr. Valdivia is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, American Medical Women’s Association and American Society of Internal Medicine.
