Dr. Sarah Lee-Davisson is an Advanced Laparoscopic and Board Certified General Surgeon who has been practicing in Tucson for over 13 years. She is fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Surgery, including hernias, colon cancer and benign colon disease, small bowel disease, gallbladder disease, and other common general surgical disease processes.
From an early age, Dr. Lee-Davisson witnessed the profound effect her mother’s nursing had in the lives of patients. Her interest in following this example led her to medical school, then specifically to the field of surgery. Her career has furthered her passion for operating and for patient care. Dr. Lee-Davisson developed a special interest in laparoscopic and robotic surgery when she found that not only is it a graceful and refined surgical style, but it offers many advantages to surgical patients.
Dr. Lee-Davisson is committed to building relationships with her patients. She understands that a warm and caring bedside manner is almost as important as a surgeon’s competency and skills in the the operating room. Dr. Lee-Davisson will take the time to answer questions, address concerns, and make sure that people understand their options.
In addition, Dr. Lee-Davisson strives to build strong relationships with other physicians, nurses, and the patient’s entire medical team so that the patient can be assured they are receiving comprehensive, excellent care.
Dr. Lee-Davisson participates with most major health plans, and is accepting new patients.
